This campaign is part of the Safer Leicester Partnership Campaign to show some of the initiatives that take place across the city to assist in making a night out in Leicester safer and enjoyable and open to all:
-
Improved Lighting and CCTV across the City Centre
-
Street Pastors work on Fridays and Saturday nights in the city centre to assist anyone who needs help. As a faith based voluntary organisation they work late into the night to help the night time go smoothly.
-
Best Bar None is a scheme to ensure our city is a safe and enjoyable place to be, it promotes responsible management of licensed premises and gives awards to those showing best practice.
-
Pubwatch works in the city to achieve safe, secure and responsibly led social drinking environments in all licensed premises in Leicester City and helps to reduce alcohol-related crime.
-
POLAMB Initiative - fast response vehicle with police and Ambulance service to assess any people Injured in city night-time economy
We want a safe and attractive city centre with a diverse night time economy, accessible to all while protecting the quality of life for residents.
Further information will be released in May about these initiatives.
