You can enter all competitions as they are both seperate competitions, but the same person CANNOT win more than one competition, so if we draw the second, third, fourth competition etc. and the same name comes out of the 'hat' we wil re-draw the name for the competition in question.

You can also enter competitions 1 & 2 using the entry forms found in The Ultimate Guide to Christmas - pick up a copy from museums, libraries, selected shops, and Leicester Tourist Information Centre in Town Hall Square.

The prizes:

WIN - Prizes from Fenwick & Dominoes Toys - One Leicester Christmas Competition 1: This is for one (1) person to win both a Tetrad Slouch Couch from Fenwick worh £449, and also a £50 gift voucher from Dominoes Toys. Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions. Open to UK residents only. All entries must be received by 11.59pm, on Tuesday 20th December 2011. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are lost or delayed. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. There is no cash alternative for the whole or any part of the prize. We reserve the right to substitute prize/s with an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforseen circumstances. No purchase necessary.

WIN - John Lewis / Kenwood Mixer - One Leicester Christmas Competition 2: This is for one (1) person to Win a Kenwood Firecracker Stand Mixer worth £379 from John Lewis. Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions. Open to UK residents only. Only one entry per household. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age, and not employees or retirees of the John Lewis Partnership, their dependants or their agents or anyone else connected with the promotion. All entries must be received by 11.59pm, on Tuesday 20th December 2011. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are lost or delayed. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified via phone or email by Wednesday 21st December 2011. The prize consists of  a Kenwood Firecracker Stand Mixer worth £379. There is no cash alternative for the whole or any part of the prize. We reserve the right to substitute prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforseen circumstances. No purchase necessary.

WIN a Leicester Experience - One Leicester & Capital FM Christmas Competition 3: This is  joint competition/promotion between One Leicester and Capital FM and essentially run by Capital FM. Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age. The competition runs from 6am on 28th November – midnight on the 11th December 2011. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are lost or delayed. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified by Capital FM on Monday 19th December by phone call and sent a winners letter. There is no cash alternative for the whole or any part of the prize (other than where the prize/s is/are cash!). WIN Leicester City Football tickets - One Leicester Christmas Competition 4: This is for one (1) person to win 2 adult and 2 under 18 tickets in our Marks Electrical Family Stand.  Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions. Open to UK residents only. All entries must be received by 11.59pm, on Monday 19th December 2011. The winner will be notified by Leicester City Football Club before Friday 23rd December 2011. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are lost or delayed. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. There is no cash alternative for the whole or any part of the prize. We reserve the right to substitute prize/s with an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances. No purchase necessary. By entering this competition you confirm that all the details you have provided are up to date and correct. You also agree to be contacted by Leicester City Football Club to arrange presentation of the tickets and any communications about any upcoming matches. The winner will be the first correct entry chosen at random after the closing date. You must be over 18 to enter. All fields below must be entered and it is only one person per entry, duplicates will be removed. Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions. Only one entry per person. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age, There is no cash alternative for the whole or any part of the prize. • You can enter ALL competitions, but only one entry per person per competition - duplicates per competition WILL be removed

Detailed information 

We will pick x1 entry out of a ‘hat’ – one for each competition, first for competition 1 and then for competition 2, 4 from both the competition entry lists. IF you are lucky enough to win and look under 18, lucky you – but you may be asked to prove your age with valid identification when you collect your present/s. Also, we want to ensure the person who wins genuinely wants to use the present/s for themselves.

Photocopied entry forms WILL be accepted, again, as long as they are not duplicates, or where a specific, original entry form is specified.

A valid telephone number MUST be given to allow us to contact you, together with where you saw the competition/s advertised/picked up a coopy of The Ultimate Guide to Christmas from if asked. 

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer or competition.

The competitions are NOT open to members of the City Centre Management Team LE One (Leicester), One Leicester Marketing Staff.
 

Prizes are non-exchangeable, non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other prizes.

Prizes offered by external promoters/partners are governed by their terms and conditions.

One Leicester or City Centre Management (Leicester) will not offer cash or goods to the value of the advertised prize in the event of cancellation or failure of the promoter/partner meeting their obligation.

If you win are in receipt of a prize where relevant, booking and attending is needed, this will be your responsibility. One Leicester / City Centre Management will not be able to offer alternatives, re-bookings etc.

Unclaimed prizes – if we cannot contact any of the winners, or they don’t come forward by 10 January 2011, we have the right to used the prise/s for future competitions - or we will use them ourselves to have a damn fine time (only kidding, but make sure we can contact you, please, we wouldn't want you to miss out.).

The judge’s decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into.

How do you choose the winners?

All fully completed entries will be put into a ‘hat’ and the winners will be drawn at random with an independent witness present. The first correct entry/s drawn will be the winner of the prize as it appears listed in the prize list – see above for details. How can I find out who wins?

We will publish the winners first name and location on the Christmas 2011 pages of this site. We will pick the winners as close to the closing date as possible. For competition 3 you will be contacted by Capital FM. For competition 4 you will be contacted by Leicester City Football Club.

What happens then?

The lucky winners will be contacted by Sarah Harrison, the City Centre Director (Leicester), or her representative. She will explain how the winners can claim their Presents. Details about how to claim and use the individual prizes will also be explained. A photo-shoot may also take place either at that time, or at a date close to this, if required - which be entering this competition you are agreeing to take part in. The winner can then enjoy their prize at their Leisure – but please note some are specifically Christmas related and may have certain expiry dates; please ensure you are aware of what these are – contacting the retailer/venue yourself may be necessary as individual prize elements will be governed by the retailers/venues own terms and conditions. Plus you will need to arrange to use the present/s/prizes at your own convenience.

Will my details be entered onto a database?

Yes, if you are not already on there, your details will be added to the One Leicester mail/email database, so we can let you know about more great competitions, news, events details and more… Don’t worry – we wont bombard you with useless information.

The information that you provide will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. The information will be used by One Leicester, Leicester City Council and may also be passed on to the  partners/retailers involved/who provided the prize in the particular relevant competition/s. We will not disclose any personal information to any other third parties unless required to do so by law.
