The annual Christmas Lights Switch-on ceremony is a magical event suitable for the whole family and this year includes performances from DMU Gospel Choir and Ratby Youth Brass Band. There will be festive themed street performers to entertain you in the square and Bishop Street Church will be open for mince pies and hot drinks to really get you into the Christmas spirit. Plus, it wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Father Christmas.
Don’t forget to wrap up warm and prepare for the snow!
Throughout the whole of the Christmas period Town Hall Square will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland, which will include two classic moving tableaux – Wind in the Willows and Paddington Bear. A magical hideaway for children and adults alike!
