Training Programme
The ambition for the JSNA programme is that it significantly contributes to policy making and sound commissioning. To do this it wants to ensure that there is a coherent and systematic approach to joint needs assessments and that these incorporate expertise, knowledge and experience from across the system. This includes appropriate leadership for needs assessments, and considered engagement of staff and other people from different agencies and sectors as contributors to the needs assessment - in addition to the appropriate engagement of residents and service users.
The workshops detailed here are designed to support this aim and to further build capacity and capability for needs assessment in the city.
The training programme for 2011/12 is underway and further applications cannot be taken at this point. However, consideration is being given to running the training programme again in 2012/13.
