Mark Selby: 1983 -

Mark Selby was snooker’s youngest player when he turned professional as a 16 year old in 1999.

Since then, Leicester born Mark has won the 2008 and 2010 Masters and the 2008 Welsh Open, going into the 2009 / 10 campaign ranked number seven in the world.

Mark’s heroics on the table – and his antics around the green baize which earned him the nickname ‘The Jester from Leicester’ – have endeared him to a whole new legion of fans.
